Welcome to Grand Prize Virtuoso!

 

NEWS: 

Grand Prize Virtuoso is collaborating with "Golden Classical Music Awards" International Competition - Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, (New York). For further information please click here.

 

Our competition wants to encourage more young musicians to perform and grow. We believe that our competition can offer many benefits to our participants, and help to build their confidence and realize their dreams, with a new classical music competition format. Our purpose is to discover artists of outstanding personality and provide awards which can help to launch international careers.

 

All auditions for the jury will be based by recordings. And the final selection of winners will be based on the same recordings submitted.

"Grand Prize Virtuoso" International Music Competition is open to all nationalities and ages in strings, piano, wind, vocal and chamber music, each discipline is divided into different age categories: Young Musician (8 years old and under), Junior (9 to 12 years old), Intermediate (13 to 15 years old), Advanced (16 to 18 years old) and Senior (no age limit). 

Chamber music is divided into three age categories: Group A (under 12 years old), Group B (13 - 18 years old) and Group C (18 years old and older).

Each participant must submit only one, two or three video recordings - from any of the following periods: baroque, classical, romantic or contempora

 

A selected group of winners will receive an invitation to debut at Auditorium Parco della Musica, Teatro Studio, Rome on December 19, 2017. The most important auditorium in Italy.

 

The Parco della Musica was formally inaugurated in December 2002; in few years it became Europe's most visited music facility. In 2014 it had over two milion spectators, making it the second most visited cultural music venue in the world, after Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.

 

All other winners 1st, 2nd, 3rd will received their diploma by post.

 

If for any reason you are unable to attend and perform at the Awards Ceremony we will send the certificate by post.
